AfD is interesting in co-financing the work we are already planning/implementing in support of development of the Green Affordable Housing project in Saint Lucia. The overall idea is to bring the project to the point where GCF and other donors will commit financing to support the full project. Some aspects of this work are being funded by the large project challenge (CAR16) and the proposed GCF Readiness. Additional AfD funding will allow us to do a more robust pre-feasibility study and other activities such as policy review and development of technical skills gap assessment that the government has requested.
