NADB becomes a Direct Access Entity of the GCF

NADB will receive support from UKPACT (MX22) to develop its Environmental and Social Risk Management System which will enable to advance with its GCF accreditation, but most important to mobilize climate finance under ESS. In addition, NADB has requested further support from GGGI to close gender and fiduciary gaps, as well as to resume and conclude their GCF application. Therefore, UKPACT fase II resources will be complemented by NADB’s resources to advance in its accreditation through 2022 and eventually (2023) develop high quality concept notes and funding proposals for projects at the subnational level in the coming years.
