Climate Adaptation Planning

GGGI is supporting the National Adaptation Planning (NAP) process for the State of Qatar to enable the country to identify and address its medium- and long-term priorities for adapting to climate change as part of Qatar’s broader development strategy and post-pandemic recovery efforts. A key component of the process is conducting evidence-based, participatory, and expert-guided climate risk assessment to identify and prioritize the most urgent impacts of climate change on the most vulnerable sectors of the economy. These will serve as the basis for designing and implementing the appropriate adaptation measures to address the risks.
