Provide expert support to Peru's government (MINAM) to help them finish its JDI Phase II roadmap

In September 2014, the government of Peru signed a Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) with the governments of Norway and Germany. This JDI aims to promote the reduction of GHG emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+). The implementation of JDI´s Phase 1 and Phase 2 are necessary to start Phase 3, the payment for the reduction of GHG emissions (source: http://www.bosques.gob.pe/archivo/23-apoyo-dci-wwf-pncb-norad.pdf). In 2021, this collaboration was extended, as the US and the UK were included in Peru´s JDI, extending the original declaration from 2014 (source: https://www.nicfi.no/partner-countries/peru/).
