The bamboo sector in Nepal is underdeveloped. Growth of the sector would deliver a range of benefits, including strong carbon sequestration, economic growth, green jobs creation etc. The Nepal country office, in collaboration with INBAR, and with support from the GON, will jointly develop funding proposals to boost development of the bamboo sector. This will involve a preliminary review of funding opportunities and then the development of at least 1 funding proposal.
