Implementing the NDCs to Promote Low-Carbon Growth in Mozambique

The capacity to access climate and private sector finance will be a key determinant of the success of the Government of Mozambique's inclusive green growth and climate agenda. In this context, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Mozambique's National Designated Authority (NDA), has requested the support of the GCF to: 1) Support national planning and coordination for implementation of the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) and the National Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Strategy (NCCAMS); and 2) Support development of a project pipeline assisting FNDS to create project proposals ready for successful submission by them to GCF and/or other public or private financiers.
