GGP3 Landscapes 2020-2022

The project supports the GoI’s institutions and processes to mainstream NDC commitments into development plans and policies, leverage investment in REDD+ mitigation actions, and strengthen the capacity of key institutions and actors. GGGI will work at national level and in six focal provinces, including three of the four provinces with large remaining areas of intact forest; two with extensive peatlands; and one with the first province-wide, jurisdictional program for REDD+ results-based payments. The project directly addresses six of NICFI’s seven objectives and will assist Indonesia to progress from the second to the third phase of REDD+ (from implementation of national strategies and demonstrations to results-based actions).
