The Emerging Americas and Asia Investment Fund is a new fund that will invest in joint ventures between a Dutch SME and a local SME in one of the DGGF focus countries of the fund. For Asia the focus will be on: Vietnam, Thailand , Philippines, Pakistan , India and Indonesia , and for Latin America the focus will be on: Guatemala , Nicaragua, Colombia , Peru and Suriname. The fund is expected to invest in at least 10 Joint Ventures. These JV’s will create jobs, knowledge transfer and increase local production in the abovementioned DGGF countries. This will be reported and monitored on an annual basis.
