aQysta Strenghtening the home base to fac

Dutch company aQysta produces and sells the Barsha-pump, a hydro-powered irrigation pump for agriculture use in geographical areas with limited access to water. The company is active in Nepal, Indonesia and Colombia. In order to prepare for future scale-up activities, mitigate risks and to prepare for external investments and a DGGF loan, Technical Assistance (DGGF-TA) provided support. This included contracting a financial expert to develop and implement a company-wide integrated financial and planning, control and reporting system as well as to define standard practices for the future administration of the system and company policies on reimbursements, expenses, budgets and allowances of departments and employees. The project was successful and aQysta and its subsidiaries now have an integrated financial administration and management system suited for a multi-product company active in different countries that contributes to further professional, sustainable and responsible growth of the company.
