The project concerns the construction and operation of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure in the town of Bijeljina. The aim is to fully cover the centre of town with an adequate sewerage system. Main goals are: - Contribution to provide affordable wastewater services to its population as well as for local - industries.- Substantial contribution to improvement of the water quality for the recipient rivers Drina Sava and Danube- Protect the quality of the groundwater from pollution in such a way that the potable water wells are safe- Contribute to the basis for economic development of the Bijeljina growth.
