Cultivar Coffee

The aim of the project is to give Cultivar's partner farmers in the Central and Northern coffee region of Peru access to alternative and long-term trade relationships with Specialty coffee roasters in Europe. This would not be possible without financing the coffee beans from plantation to cup. Since they work with both farmers and roasters, a large part of arranging supply chain financing falls under the responsibility of Cultivar Coffees. This project of pre-financing the coffees purchased from Cultivar's partner growers in Peru is essential to build a track record while keeping their relationships with farmers and roasters direct, and while building a stable foundation guided by our company’s vision and mission. The import of 2 containers of coffee supported 7 direct jobs at Cultivar Peru and 22 FTE amongst farmers.
