In order to mitigate the adverse impact of climate change, the Government of São Tomé and Principe and Develop2Build are developing coastal protection infrastructure in the district of Agua Grande. The ultimate objective of these proposed works is to reduce the vulnerability of the countrys capital, São Tomé, to the risks linked to extreme marine phenomena of the climate change by strengthening resilience and promoting the reconstruction of the Ana Chaves bay for tourist exploitation and development of the country. The Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment (MIRNA) is the Executing Agency for this project. Develop2Build and MIRNA are working together with the European Investment Bank for the implementation of this project.Feasibility Study
