The proposed project is responsive to the SRP’s 2015 Health Strategic Objective #2: to provide lifesaving and life sustaining humanitarian assistance through specific interventions focusing on: primary healthcare for women, girls, men and boys (including services for reproductive health, child health and immunization, management of malnutrition and mental health), and strengthening of referral services. The proposed project is also closely aligned to the SRP’s Protection and Community Service sector, which calls for access to protection services for the most vulnerable and persons with specific needs, in particular gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response services.
