Newton Fund, Thailand

The Newton Fund in Thailand was launched in 2014 as part of the UK's Official Development Assistance (ODA). The Fund aims to aims to build research and innovation partnerships to promote economic development and social welfare, and to develop the two partnering countries' research and innovation capacity for long-term sustainable growth. British Council is one of the delivery partners of the Newton Fund. In 2020, British Council Thailand delivered two programmes under Newton Fund; Institutional Links and Newton Fund Impact Scheme.
