House of Europe is an EU-funded programme fostering professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and their colleagues in EU countries. The programme focuses on different professional fields: culture and creative industries, education, health, social entrepreneurship, media, and youth. The programme House of Europe is managed by the Consortium of Goethe-Institut (GI), British Council, České Centrum (ČC) Institut Français d’Ukraine (IFU) in partnership with the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) Cluster in Ukraine. Programme duration is from April 2019 to March 2023. For more details: www.houseofeurope.org.ua As a Consortium Partner the British Council is delivering five work packages (projects) within the House of Europe. They are: University Exchanges – credit-bearing mobility for students of Higher Education institutions in different parts of Ukraine aimed to foster interregional academic cooperation between universities and to enhance people-to-people exchange and cultural dialogue between young Ukrainians. Active Citizens – is a youth-oriented platform for development of leadership skills and social responsibility through experience exchange, ideas generation and bringing awareness of possibilities for their community development. Creative Enterprise Ukraine – business skills capacity building programme for emerging creative entrepreneurs across all sectors of the creative industries. Based on the methodology of the UK’s innovations agency Nesta. Study Tours for Creative Hubs Managers – a series of study tours for managers of Ukrainian-based creative hubs to the EU countries in order to observe European experience and models in running and managing creative hubs. Study Tours for Social Entrepreneurs – a series of study tours for Ukrainian social entrepreneurs to the EU countries in order to observe European experience and models in social enterprise.
