EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community 2019-21

The EU Scholarship Programme for the Turkish Cypriot Community is being delivered by the British Council in Cyprus under a 43 month Delegation Agreement with the European Commission to implement the action for the calls for two academic years 2019/20 and 2020/21. The contract duration was extended to 55 months to manage the underspent which resulted from the withdrawal of scholars who could not start their studies because of Covid-19 pandemic. The value of the contract, however, remained the same. The EU Scholarship Programme is fully funded by the European Commission and forms part of one of four aid strands operated by the EU for the Turkish Cypriot Community.
