Road to COP26 compromises of a series of exchanges between the UK and Nepal leading up to the next UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland. The conference is scheduled for November 2021. Exchanges concern capacity building of women journalists to support stronger coverage of intersectional issue of gender and climate change; discussions with women leaders on climate change to extend their voice and agency in issue-based dialogue and decision-making by sharing their perspective through creative, mass media platforms and finally, work with youth innovators where potential creative solutions for supporting Nepal’s climate change resilience is incubated and mentored by a UK-Nepal academic partnership. All project activities lead to the creation of original multi-media content will be used to engage key stakeholders of climate change response in Nepal. And a delegation of beneficiaries will be curated to support independent collateral engagements around the COP26 event produced with support from UK partners and the British Council UK offices
