The consultation will provide a full picture of assessment activities currently being undertaken by all stakeholders involved with needs assessments, assessment-related capacity-building activities, including the government. Complementing the consultation carried out for the design of BNASP, this new consultation round will assess key capacity gaps and work with Government stakeholders to help design a project that includes the capacity building support to the Government, as part of its role in needs assessments. It is expected that this will give Government confidence that they are being included in the JNA and will go some way to plug critical gaps. This will be done, with the understanding that there will not be a substantial increase in the overall 1 available for the BNASP. It will also take into account the resources available to the Government from other sources.
