Age International is accountable to Finn Church Aid for this project, which is being implemented by Age International's partner, HelpAge International. <br/><br/> Finn Church Aid MERO (consortium lead) in cooperation with HelpAge International and 6 municipalities in Jordan are seeking to improve social-economic prospects for refugees and host communities in municipalities in Jordan and specifically to support communities through locally appropriate businesses in cooperation with four municipalities in Jordan with high refugee population. <br/><br/> Under this programme, HelpAge international will be providing technical expertise and inputs, with the Jordanian organization Noor Al-Hussein Foundation, to enhance the protection of vulnerable refugees and host communities by employing comprehensive family approach that will be inclusive of older people and people with disabilities and/or special needs. This will include: performing family assessments of participants (especially Syrians) to understand potential barriers to (self-) employment; provision of Psycho-Social support to the families; case referrals to the relevant services within the area, and the delivery of inclusion training to all stakeholders.
