The program aims to promote good governance in the rural areas of Vihiga County, with the long-term objective of progressive enactment and implementation of inclusive legal frameworks, policies and programs that contribute to the realization of the right to food and promote accountability. It mobilizes civil society, media, and influencers to pressure decision-makers. National and subnational coalitions on the Right to Food/Food Systems use grassroots evidence to strategically engage in advocacy, creating critical influence and testing approaches before scaling them to meso and macro levels.
