The project contributes to transforming local food system in central Mali and create opportunities for the youth to develop their social, professional and economical skills. This will include the identification of local food systems strengths and shortcomings in order to improve the resilience of the system in a context prone to disaster and conflicts, enriched with several innovative approaches such as the development of a FoodLab, the dissemination of climate-resilient and agroecological cultivation methods, or strengthened contractual relationships in an informal business environment. This will be combined with the AA project working around several strategic axes to ensure nexus approach and transitional development. Focus on social cohesion, inclusion and governance components.
