The project has three distinct components: (1) Emergency intervention to mitigate the effects of Tropical Cyclone Freddy (TCF) in 5 neighborhoods of Blantyre. This component will be be implemented together with a partner organization (Waste Advisers) and will be finalized by the end of 2023. (2) WASH in Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Dzaleka, and the Refugee Transit Areas in the north of Malawi (Karonga and Chitipa). WASH activities are complemented by an advocacy component on refugee rights implemented by a national partner organization. (3) Advocacy on refugee rights will be implemented by a partner organization, Youth and Society and is linked to component 2.This component will last throughout the entire project span until the end of 2024.
