Climate Mainstreaming Facility (CMF) supporting FCDO departments to strengthen climate mainstreaming and the integration of International Climate Finance (ICF) - Future Climate for Africa (FCFA) Accountable Grant

As part of the FCFA Accountable Grant funded by the UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), previously referred to as the Department for International Development (DfID) (IATI identifier GB-1-203835-107), the Climate Mainstreaming Facility (CMF) was initiated to offer support to FCDO (previously DfID) country offices, regional and central departments to strengthen climate mainstreaming and the integration of International Climate Finance (ICF) in their portfolios. The facility aims to improve the uptake of climate information and climate risk analysis and adaptation assessment, including for integration, and enhance compliance with the DfID Smart Guide on Climate and Environment. FCDO country offices and departments access support by submitting a Request for Service (RfS) to the FCDO Facility Executive Committee (FEC). Once the FEC has approved the RfS, the Facility Management Team (FMT), allocate an appropriate expert to respond to the request.
