Based on , lessons learned from previous projects, and tracking and evaluating the indicators of its various field operations, Mwatana aspires to continue to build on the fruitful partnerships with the Netherlands Embassy with a new project that aims to achieve the following objectives: The overall objective of this project is to protect human rights and promote the rule of law in Yemen. This includes protecting human rights by documenting violations in 22 governorates, producing an annual report, and publishing a number of press releases, statements, blog posts, and newsletters on the human rights situation in Yemen. Also, the project contributes to the promotion of the rule of law by providing legal support to victims of arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance, torture, and fault-in procedures. Gender and age-disaggregated data will be collected and analyzed in all the activities of the project and monitoring and reporting mechanisms to ensure the needs of males and females are captured separately. Ensuring that collected information is disaggregated when it is inputted into the database will facilitate a gendered analysis to identify bottlenecks and gender gaps
