Training on bamboo tissue culture

A 5 days hands-on training (05- 09 August 2019) on bamboo tissue culture for 7 technicians from Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda was conducted at Grow more Biotech Ltd, India. The training content include (a) collection of mother tissue; (b) initiation of culture from ex-plant; (c) rooting of culture; (d) media preparation; (e) multiplication of culture; (f) plant weaning, primary hardening in poly house; (g) secondary hardening in shade net; (h) lab maintenance, plant coding system, and clean area entry protocol.
