South Sudan: Increasing Access to Justice for Juveniles

The project aimed to enhance access to justice for juveniles by strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs), paralegal organizations, law firms and social workers in the area of legal aid pro-bono service and assistance, reducing the arbitrary, unlawful and prolonged detention of juveniles at police cells and long-remand detention at the prisons, improving case disposal rates, and improving juvenile detention conditions.
