Broad One Health Endectocide-based Malaria Intervention in Africa (BOHEMIA)

This project focuses on product development for new vector control tools. It will develop strategies to reduce malaria transmission based on ivermectin mass drug administration (MDA) as the first-in-class endectocide to be evaluated for this indication and will work on dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities to create country demand for this vector control tool. In addition, the project will contribute to the evidence base for endectocides as a complement to existing vector control strategies to inform WHO policy.
