The project aims at supporting the Government in the elaboration of an MTP to operationalize two strategic axes prioritized in the 2014 Update of the Diagnostic Trade Integration Study, which are export diversification and trade facilitation. The MTP will also build on priorities and work done under the Accelerated Growth and Sustainable Development Strategy (Stratégie de Croissance Accélérée et de Développement Durable, SCADD, 2011-2015), the Industrial, Commercial and Handicraft Sectoral Policy (Politique Sectorielle de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat, POSICA, 2011 2025) and the POSICA action plan.
