Inclusive Cross Border Trade Capacity Development

This project will enhance the national framework for cross border trade and will measurably improve the livelihoods of those engaged in cross border trade, particularly women. The project will also stimulate local economic development and trade by upgrading supply chain infrastructure. The project is directly drawn from the recommendations of the National Cross Border Strategy, DTIS and national Vision 2020 for the development of Rwanda. The project will be implemented as part of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) for trade related technical assistance and will follow the EIF Government Implementation modality that promotes national ownership of Aid for Trade.
