• Tier 1 project implementation on track; • Mainstreaming of trade and selected priorities of the DTIS action Matrix in the National Development Plan 2012013-2015; • Preparation of the DTIS update which recently was validated in November 2013; • Coordination with the UNDP, Donor facilitator • Strong support to the Ministry in the preparation of the Trade Policy review of Chad held in July 2013 at the WTO; • Assisted in the development of a Tier 2 project on Gum Arabic approved by the EIF Board in October 2013; • Contributed to the sensitization of national stakeholders and development partners on the EIF programme which became visible in the country; and • Assisted the NIU Coordinator in the management of the Unit and also provided on site training to the NIU staff and some other officials of the ministry.
