Support for Survivors of Acid and Burns Violence (A&BV)

The specific outputs of this programme were: 1. Improved access to and quality of medical responses to acid and burns violence (at least 100 survivors improved their physical and psychological health) 2. Increased access to justice for survivors of acid and burns violence (31 survivors will receive legal assistance to bring their cases before court) 3. Improved access to rehabilitation and reintegration services for survivors of acid and burns violence (58 survivors will be integrated into safe and stable home environments) 4. Increased awareness of rights and skills needed to organise and create change 5. Improved responses to and prevention of acid and burns violence (More than 4.000 people will be reached by campaign materials and theatre productions and more than 4,000,000 through radio campaigns) 6. Stronger evidence-base to tackle and prevent acid and burns violence (Case management system and databases developed to collect, analyse and made available for improved institutional responses)
