The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in Southern Thailand under the PPA during the period Apr-Jun 2013. These activities have the following objectives: 1) Governance reforms implemented to reduce grievances of conflict-affected populations in subnational conflict areas; 2) Expanded community-level efforts to improve local security and relations with security forces (police, military).;
