PPA Sri Lanka Programs Apr-Jun 2015

The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in the Sri Lanka under the PPA during the period Apr-Jun 2015. These activities have the following objectives: 1) Locally-accepted informal justice systems strengthened and expanded where government lacks capacity and legitimacy; 2) Expanded community-level efforts to improve local security and relations with security forces (police, military).
