The IOM model and pilot activities will aim to shift the recruitment industry towards ethical recruitment, focused on engagement with multiple stakeholders in Bangladesh’s overseas labour recruitment industry. Selected recruitment agencies will be provided with training, tools, and support to shift towards ethical recruitment practices through the International Recruitment Integrity System (IRIS) Labour Recruiter Capacity Building Program (designed by IOM). The project will raise awareness of ethical recruitment among communities, sub-agents and second- and third-tier recruitment agencies through targeted community-level engagement.
