ClimateShot Investor Coalition

CLIC aims to convene leaders in the agriculture investment space with the goal of accelerating their collective efforts to scale up financing for agriculture and food systems in line with the Paris Agreement’s objectives to achieve net zero emissions, climate resilience, and biodiversity. CPI holds the secretariat role. The Secretariat ensures day-to-day administrative management of the Coalition, including decision-making on routine matters, coordinating periodic meetings convened by the Coalition, engaging with external stakeholders to explore collaborations and strategic partnerships, as well as extending the membership base, formalizing and coordinating the membership application process, and administering funds including grant financials and narrative reporting. The Secretariat also provides thought leadership for the Coalition through its support to the Action Groups, the Agrifood Investment Connector – the Connector – and knowledge products. More widely, in acting as CLIC’s secretariat, CPI will be able to reflect our deep knowledge and understanding of the climate finance space and levels of development support focused in this area, thus being able to play a role in helping FCDO and other stakeholders to build potential synergies while avoiding duplication.
