Building Resilient Communities for Sustainable Development in Rural Afghanistan

To strengthen the resilience of rural communities in Afghanistan to economic, climatic, and conflict-related shocks. The project will be implemented in underserved, rural communities across nine provinces of Afghanistan – Badghis, Balkh, Ghazni, Herat, Maidan Wardak, Nimroz, Paktia, Zabul, and Kandahar. The project is designed to consolidate and build upon the consortium partners’ ongoing humanitarian and recovery programmes through a complementary approach, in which members will mutually benefit from each other’s skills and experience to generate the highest positive impact among affected populations
