Warehouse Receipts and Financial Practices: The Case of Ghana

This was a one -year joint project with IFPRI which started in July 2016 and closed in June 2017. The goal of this study was to assess the potential economic benefits of warehouse receipts, not only to farmers, but, more generally, the agricultural marketing chain. The study included theoretical research, a survey of stakeholders in the Ghanaian agricultural commodity marketing chain with a direct interest in storage and warehouse receipts, and a technical report.
