Through the implementation of the new Fund and the technical assistance provided therein by ICTJ, this proposal seeks to strengthen the implementation of the transitional justice mechanisms established in Chapter 5 of the Peace Agreement, consistent with international standards and best practices for the effective realization of the rights of victims to truth and justice. This will be done by supporting and allocating funds to targeted initiatives of the Comprehensive System and CSO that promote the participation of victims and perpetrators.
