Increasing Financial Inclusion in West Nile, Uganda

Vision Fund Uganda (VFU) is offering a credit model for Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs) in the West Nile region. VFU targets to access stable NGO-supported groups and leverage the repayment and share-out data from previous cycles to determine eligibility for additional loan capital. The loans to VSLA members will allow them to invest in income generating activities (including agriculture and trade) to boost household incomes in refugee and host communities in the region.
