The RURALSS project is a 5-year grant (2021-2026) from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands South Sudan. The project is a direct contribution to the post-conflict recovery of South Sudanese communities, building of strong agro-based livelihoods safety-nets, nutritionally sensitive and market-oriented farming system and sustainable agri-food system for better economic and nutritional outcomes. The project is directly implemented by AVSI foundation in collaboration with local authorities and private sector actors. The project implementation sites are in Eastern Equatoria and Lakes States in the Counties of Torit, Magwi, Ikwoto, Lopa, Cueibet and Wulu.
