SN-support for the participation of WCSOs in media debates with policy-makers and religious leaders

An open dialogue has been initiated in the media between civil society actors and policy makers, including senior government officials. These debates were organized around the celebration of the international day of the girl (July 31). During these debates, national policies to deal with violence against women and girls were questioned in their relevance and effectiveness, in view of the many forms of violence suffered by young girls in Senegal.
