Avina Bolivia

In Bolivia, work is being done to have a better understanding of the existing media ecosystem in the landscape, with the purpose of knowing what the hegemonic narratives are around climate change in the region. Having this type of data allows the development of community networks that radiate to other spheres (urban, academic, financial) a more realistic and appropriate account of people's concerns and ideas. The production of empirical evidence is also promoted (eg: study of perception of climate change with urban indigenous people) as a strategy for influencing public policy. The logic is to analyze and propose adaptation strategies with a base of reliable and primary information. Finally, for the development of capacities, successful experiences of new partners have been transferred and adapted to the region where VAC operates.
