The Director General has the overall responsibility of managing the organisation and reporting to the IDI Board. The Strategic Support Unit (SSU) leads on IDI’ strategic and operation planning and reporting, funding and stakeholder management, corporate governance, gender and inclusiveness, managing evaluations and research and quality assurance. SSU acts as the central point for stakeholder relations and coordination and leads on stakeholder engagement with core support donors. The workstream departments and Global Foundations lead on stakeholder engagement that is specifically earmarked to initiatives within those departments.
