AGRI3 is providing a guarantee to a partnerbank's loan to a company in Chongqing, China that provides seedlings, inputs (e.g. fertiliser and pesticides), technical advice and training to smallholder farmers to grow and harvest chilli pepper, which they will then purchase. This is expected to significantly improve farmer incomes, raise the productivity and volume of chillies that the client can process (dry) and support their sale into the provincial market.
