WWS’ approach is designed to take advantage of the increasing interest in “investing in women” in global value chains to deepen impact of corporate women’s economic empowerment programs by embedding those programs in community settings with locally-trusted women’s organisations that understand the complex issues that may impact successful implementation in those settings. WWS believes that, by partnering with these local organisations, the impact of these programs can be sustainable and transformative both for women and for business. With a unique set of skills and partners, WWS hopes to increase the visibility and networks of, and ultimately create new resources for, the many local women’s organisations around the world that are creating transformative change for women using an integrated, rights-based approach. WWS’ Purpose • To economically empower women using an integrated, rights-based approach. • To build cross-sector partnerships that leverage the deep assets of local women's organisations to design and implement empowerment programs that are sustainable for women, business and society.
