Red Sea Power is the first Independent Power Producer (“IPP”) to be constructed in Djibouti. It is a 60 MW Onshore Wind Farm based near the Lake Goubet in Djibouti. The project includes the construction of 17 wind turbines, a 5km overhead line connecting the Wind Farm Substation to the Local Grid Operator, in addition to the usual Balance of Plan works (a substation, civil works and O&M warehouse buildings).
