CI2 Development Fund Project: The project concerns the development of a Waste to Energy (WtE) Build Own Operate (BOO) project in Thailand, which will utilise incineration technology to burn an estimated 570 tons per day of Municipal Solid Waste, (MSW) and generate 9.9MW. The project will help alleviate the risk of groundwater pollution from landfill leachate, which is considered to be one of the most significant risks for the natural environment and human health related to the tipping of waste.
