The goal of this project is to build on the Lestari tea standard as a basis for the development of public and corporate policies in Indonesia to create incentives for sustainable investments in the tea sector. The policies are developed through a multi-stakeholder National Reference Group Platform, promoting sustainable growth and poverty reduction of tea smallholders and providing smallholders and processing factories with the necessary resources to implement environmentally sustainable and climate resilient production practices.
