On 4 November 2020 conflict erupted in Tigray. Mekelle authorities estimate >90,000 people are displaced in the region, with at least 7554 IDPs (including 2341 children) living in collective sites and schools. The crowded living conditions increases risk of COVID19 and other communicable diseases, as well as protection risks. Health and nutrition mobile clinics are not operational, amid an increase in malnutrition and shortage of nutrition supplies. Save the Children will implement a shelter, nutrition and protection response
