Girls Advocacy Program Plan Liberia

The Girls Advocacy Programme of Plan Liberia is part of a broader initiative by an alliance comprising Plan Nederland and Defence for Children – ECPAT Netherlands. It is promoting equal rights and opportunities for girls and young women, reducing poverty and stimulating inclusive economic growth. Particular emphasis is being placed on improving policies and practices for the eradication of violence against girls and women and ending their economic exclusion. In Liberia, the programme is being implemented by Plan Liberia and Defence for Children Liberia. Activities will be carried out by Plan Liberia and its partners VUD and YUDA in the rural districts of Lofa and Bomi and at national level and in the urban district of Montserrado.
